The Governing Mayor of Berlin – Senate Chancellery provides the ‘Application for refugees from Ukraine for temporary protection according to Section 24 of the Residence Act’ for the State Office for Immigration via the ICT basic service. Your data will be processed jointly by the administrations of the State of Berlin in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The processing of personal data from the entry forms serves solely to process the application. Other personal data processed during the sending process is used to prevent misuse and to ensure the security of the information technology systems.
The legal basis for the processing (collection and temporary storage) of your personal data for the basic digital application service and the forwarding of data to the connected administrations is Section 4 Paragraph 2 Clause 1 Online Access Act Berlin (OZG Bln) in the current version.
The further processing of the necessary personal data for the provision of the requested administrative service (issuance of the requested residence permit) by the State Office for Immigration is based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter e of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with § 86 et seq. Residence Act.
